Curator of the GOA Granted France's Highest Medal of Art

A Sino-French envoy to the art world and curator of the Guangdong Museum of Art (GOA), Mr. Wang Huangsheng (王璜生) was granted the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Chevalier Order of Arts and Literature) by the French government. At the opening ceremony of the Paris Design Reference, which is held from June 24 to July 20, Mr. Wang was awarded the honor by Mr. Jean-Raphaël PEYTREGNET of the counsel general of France in Guangzhou.

The Order by the French Minister of Culture is awarded to those who have made significant contributions to the enrichment of the French cultural inheritance. It has three grades: Commandeur, Officier and Chevalier. Chevalier is the highest honor of the Order.
