Foreign Executives Join Wellness Seminar in GZ

How to maximize our body’s potential? How to stay healthy during long office hours and double shifts to catch up with US and European working hours in Guangzhou? The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in South China organized a wellness seminar this November with the support of the Italian, German, British and French Chambers of Commerce. Around 30 foreign executives working in China, including the Consul General of Spain in Guangzhou Mr. Carlos Morales joined the seminar.

Around the topic How to create a powerful mind and a powerful body, the speaker Sascha Telen explained “we should balance three parts of energy: the mind, physical training and nutrition”. Sascha Telen is the winner of the 2009 China Men’s Health Magazine Award and has been a fitness trainer and wellness expert for 10 years, and located in Guangzhou for 5 years. He also mentioned that “we have to combine three parts of training including strength, endurance and flexibility, and find the balance amongst the three.”

"People in general should exercise three times a week at a low or moderate level; fit people should exercise three to four times per week at a moderate or intense level; peak performers must train five to seven times per week.” Sascha added.
