Celebration for Decade Tie between China and South Africa

2008 is the 10th year of diplomatic ties between China and South Africa. To celebrate a decade of friendship and enhance communication in politics, culture and economics, the embassy of South Africa in China introduces a series of events in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Started on April 7th in Guangzhou, the events in each city will last a week. The celebrations include a South African-featured banquet, commercial seminar emphasizing the country as a major economical part of the continent, fashion show, wine tasting and shows of local art and music.
