With over-2200-year history and culture, Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, now is south China' s center of politics, economy, trade, technology, education, transportation and communication. Adjacent to H.K. and Macao, Guangzhou is located in the north of Pearl River Delta and has been China's "Southern Gateway" to the world so far. Guangzhou Fair, sponsored by Guangzhou municipal people' government, so far have been successfully held for 12 times, and gained remarkable achievements in trade promotion. 2004 G.Z. Fair covered 80,000 sm, nearly 4,000 stands and 1006 contracts were signed with total amount of 153.79 billion yuan, thus 2004 G. Z. Fair reached historical high in terms of scale and effect, and brought tremendous influence to domestic and overseas.
