New List of Top Enterprises in Guangzhou Released

On January 11, 2006, the result of "Guangzhou Large-scale Enterprise Assessment In 2005" was declared on the "2006 Guangzhou Competitiveness Forum, China". It includes the names of the fresh "Top 50 Most Competitive Enterprises in Service Trade in 2005" and the "People of the Year 2005 in Guangzhou Business Circles". This time Guangzhou Daily Press Group ranks second among the Most Competitive Enterprises in Service Trade, better than that in the previous year (third in 2004).

This list is made by the Jointly Research Institute of Productivity Development under the Guangzhou Enterprise Assessment Association and the Management & Policy-making Scientific Research Institute under the Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences, etc. after a study of more than six months based on a series of index factors, including enterprise management state, innovation ability, tax-paying analysis, bankable trust, trade analysis and sustainable development capacity.

More than 400 enterprises are presented with different assessment titles on the list, namely, Top 100 Most Competitive Enterprises in Manufacturing & High-Tech Industries such as Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd, Top 50 Most Competitive Enterprises in Service Trade such as Guangdong Mobile Communication Co., Ltd Guangzhou Branch, Top 50 Enterprises with Most Competitive Brands such as Guangzhou Procter & Gamble Co.,Ltd, Top 30 Most Competitive Real Estate Enterprises such as Guangzhou Hengda Industiral Group Co., Ltd, Guangzhou R&F Properties Co., Ltd, Hopson Development Holdings Limited, Top 30 Most Trusty Real Estate Enterprises such as Guangzhou Hengda Industiral Group Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Municipal Urban Construction and Development Group Co., Ltd, Hopson Development Holdings Limited, Top 10 Most Competitive Construction Enterprises such as Guangzhou Municipal Construction Group Co. Ltd, Top 10 Enterprises with Most Competitive Company Culture such as Guangzhou Iron & Steel Enterprise Holding Ltd., Top 10 Excellent Enterprises with Great Potentials for Development such as Guangzhou Light Holdings Limited, Top 130 Most Trusty Enterprises such as Guangzhou Streercar Company.
