Guangzhou governs ten districts, i.e., Yuexiu, Haizhu, Liwan, Tianhe, Baiyun, Huangpu, Huadu, Panyu, Nansha, Luogang, and two county-level cities, i.e., Conghua and Zengcheng, totaling an area of 7,434.4 square kilometers with a registered population of 7.3767 million(at the end of 2004). The Tianhe District has the fastest growing population and Baiyun District has the lagest population.
