8月26日至9月9日,广州日报将在广东美术馆举办第十六届广州日报杯华文报纸优秀广告奖精选获奖作品展览,广告界人士有机会零距离接触去年全国报纸广告的最高水准之作,评选结果也借此机会揭开神秘面纱。

From August 26, the most excellent advertisement works of Chinese language newspapers have been on display at Guangdong Museum of Art, for the 16th "Guangzhou Daily Cup", top advertisements of Chinese newspapers competition.

此次展览的作品约120幅,是从1600份来自全国各地的优秀报纸广告作品中,由12位来自北京、上海等地的国际4A及本土4A广告公司创意负责人组成的评委团共同评选出来的。

120 pieces have been selected from 1600 advertisements from national and local newspapers. A panel composed of 12 directors from the creation departments of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou-based 4A advertising companies spent three days considering the ads.

自1991年开办以来,活动本着提高报纸广告的创意和设计制作水平,使广告发挥最好的经济效益和社会效益的宗旨,一直坚持以非商业性的模式进行。

The competition sponsored and named after Guangzhou Daily started in 1991. The activities are aimed at promoting the creation and design of newspaper advertisements by the way of a non-commercial operation model.

展览时间:2007年8月26日至9月9日;展览地点:广东美术馆二楼 7号厅。市民可发邮件到以下邮箱:function_gz@126.com, 在主题处注明:广告奖展览,并在邮件中注明姓名、年龄、性别、职业、联系方式和对广告奖的大致认识。收到本报回复邮件的市民便可在指定日期内前往广州日报领取门票。

The exhibition will end on September 9. People who are interested in seeing the exhibition can send emails to function_gz@126.com, giving contact details including name, gender, age and profession.
