Trade Businness Tax 13 Times Higher than 1996

从广东省地税局获悉，香港回归十年来，粤港贸易额年均增长率达13％。而广东经香港转口贸易额2006年为2400亿美元，比10年前增长2.3倍。

According to statistics from the Guangdong Local Tax Bureau, trade business between Hong Kong and Guangdong has been up for 13% during the last ten years after Hong Kong's return to China. And also the re-export trade of Guangdong via Hong Kong has reached 240,000 million US dollars in 2006, with 2.3 times more than ten years ago.

据统计，广东省内港资企业的数量目前约占全省外资企业数量的70％；实际吸收香港投资累计达1122亿美元，港资占广东实际利用外资中的比重已超过60％。而在内地工作的香港人绝大部分在广东省工作。

Data shows that, enterprises of HK, Macau and Taiwan in Guangdong accounts approximately for 70% of foreign-owned enterprises in the local society with an investment of 112,200 million US dollars, which account for more than 60% of the actually utilized foreign capital within the province. What's more, most of the Hong Kong people who work in mainland China settle in Guangdong.
